These red lesions are called cherry angiomas.  You will likely get more of these over time. The treatment is quite simple and straightforward. I prefer to treat the angiomas with a vascular laser such as a pulsed dye laser or the Excel 532 laser. The lesions respond very well to treatment....

It is very common to get many moles and spots as we age.  They should be evaluated at least yearly for concern.  If any spots have symptoms or discoloration that is out of the ordinary you should see your dermatologist sooner than yearly.  Best, Dr. Emer.
