Can "stuffiness" after minor nasal trauma be fixed?

My nose suffered from mild trauma three weeks ago. It didn't bleed nor hurt whatsoever, did feel weird after, and encountered a small clicking sound when I washed my face (my father who is a doctor said it wasn't broken though) and there might be a slight change in the appearance (not sure, my family says there isn't). The problem is that it feels very stuffy from time to time, almost as if it is going to explode, (mostly on middle area). Any ideas?

There
are many reasons you might be experiencing nasal obstruction following minor
trauma.  Swelling and inflammation can
last several weeks after an injury.  In
addition, you might be more aware of your nose and are more attentive to the
subtleties of how you breathe.

I
recommend consulting with a board certified facial plastic surgeon or
otolaryngologist.  They will be able to
evaluate your anatomy and evaluate your breathing. In addition, if there is a
nasal fracture or damage to your nasal cartilage they can help determine the
best treatment plan.
