Photosensitivity Safe for IPL Treatment?

bluesky305
I am 32 and have fair skin. I use a spf 30 daily but recently noticed that my face reacts with what looks like hyperpigmentation after short periods outdoors. It goes away overnight. Google suggests melasma, a sun allergy or drug-induced photosensitivity. I've used Retin-A for years but in the last year have mostly replaced it with a tea-tree chamomile lotion. I take an anitbiotic once a month and Aldactone daily. Would an IPL be safe with this sensitivity? Any suggestions for reducing this reaction?
