Thank you for your question. Sorry that you are worried. I would like to clarify a few things first - 1) Did you have FUE or FUT ? HOw many hairs were transplanted overall - it looks like 2500- 3000.2) The area where they implanted the hair - did you have any of your existing hair there?3) When you had shaved your hair previously, had you noticed any scars on your scalp or are you aware of any scars on your scalp.4) had you worn anything on your scalp following the hair transplant - woollen hat? 5) what were your post operative instructions? It is only one week following the surgery and it does look like you have good coverage. The scalp does swell up and it might well be that certain parts of the scalp are still quite swollen. As this swelling settles down it may well reduce the distance between the grafts in this area. Your final result will not be apparent for at least 18 months and in the first month there can be shedding of not only the transplanted hair but if there was some exisitng hair in these areas then they can go into shock and shed. This is not a worry as it all tends to grow back as the hair bub is still embedded. I can see why you have a concern as it does seem like no hair has been placed there. It would be easier to see in person - Have you contacted your surgeon and requested a review? It would be useful to go back to him/ her and enquire as to whether any hairs were placed there or not. From the picture it is not obvious to me if there are any holes for the grafts to have been implanted or not. I hope this helps you with your concerns
It is best to contact your doctor about post operative care and instructions since each doctor has a different regimen. You may not be washing your hair and scalp as instructed.
In my opinion everything looks normal. I do not see evidence of any issues of the scalp on this photos but you should get your surgeons opinion as well. Some people have more scabs than others. It just depends.
Your condition looks very normal for the 5th day. Use the supplements your doctor gave you without disruption.
Hard to say from the photos- it may be that the scabs and crusts in those areas came off in that pattern due to how you're washing. If this concerns you, an in-person visit with your surgeon would be warranted.
few days after getting scabs and crack lines over the transplanted area is absolutely normal....nothing to worry...in our practice we recommnd to apply any oil over tea splanted area and let it bebthwre for whole night....it will make the scabs soft....next morning gently massage the scab area in a circular motion and than wash it with shampoo..keep it up for few days until all sabs go away...
You have terrible crusting which should have come off from good washing techniques in the after the surgery, An FUE is treated just like a regular hair transplant with regard to the recipient area, but the donor area has open wounds which require daily washing with soap and water. An FUE is treated just like a regular hair transplant with regard to the recipient area, but the donor area has open wounds which require daily washing with soap and water. Within 3 days of surgery, you can resume full activities, heavy exercises if you wish. The recipient area requires daily washes as well to keep the recipient area free of crusts. I generally recommend the use of a sponge and supply my patient with a surgical sponge to fill with soapy water and press on the recipient area daily. By repeating this daily, all crusts can be washed off without any fear of losing grafts. IF any crust is present, use a Q tip and dip it into soapy water, and roll it on the crusts and that will lift them off without dislodging them, but never rub them, just roll the Q tip on the recipient crust. I like to see no evidence of any crusting in the recipient area and the crusts from the donor area gone in 3-4 days with daily washing. To get the crusting off if you did not follow this routine, you need to leave the shampoo on your hair for 10 minutes and as the crust become water logged, then will come off with gentle finger action.

Thanks for the question. Of course it depends on what your job is but generally I advice my patients to be away from work for 10-15 days. I wish you all the best.
If you are considering a cosmetic surgery it would be in your interest to see a doctor for an examination to make sure you would be a candidate.
