after tummy tucks are quite common as the skin in the area is usually excessive, the fat layer still thick, and its possible the muscle repair was not done all the way to the ribs or weakened.  Regards of cause, this requires that you visit your surgeon for an evaluation and recommendations on how best to get the result you desire.  With an exam, its pretty simple to determine if your muscle repair is intact or not.

Without an examination it is impossible to determine exactly what your underlying situation is. You should contact your plastic surgeon and have him/her assess the situation. Without knowing EXACTLY what was done at your surgery and without an examination, it is impossible to know. Clearly some component is simply gastric filling when eating, but any baseline issue is harder to assess.
