Difficulties producing saliva after Botox injections, will I experience the same problem?

It's been 6 months since I had a few units of Botox injected into my forehead for the first time. The following hours after the consultation I noticed I produced very little amounts of saliva which led to difficulties swallowing. This situation continued until the next day, when I started to feel better and I was totally recovered in a 20 hours time lapse. Currently, the aesthetic effects have already disappeared, so, will I experience the same problem if I get it reinjected? Thank you

That's an extremely strange side effect of getting botox injected to the forehead, given that there are no saliva glands there. Are you sure they're related? I highly doubt it would happen again unless you have some very unusual possible autoimmune condition going on.

The Botox injected into your forehead would not affect your salivary glands.  It may have been a nervous reaction related to the treatment.  Botox results gradually fade typically over three to four months.  Be sure to always choose an experienced injector.
