Approximately 3.5 years ago, I attempted to remove a small skin pocket/skin tag on the glans using tweezers. While most of it detached, one portion was firmly adherent to the mucosa. The area did not heal normally and instead developed localized painful scarring. Since then, I have had persistent sensitivity and discomfort, primarily provoked by friction and rubbing. On palpation, the affected area feels firmer than the surrounding glans tissue, and mechanical stimulation can trigger lingering ache and hypersensitivity. This has made both masturbation and intercourse uncomfortable. About 5 months ago, I was evaluated by a urologist who recommended a Kenalog-40 intralesional injection. Unfortunately, this did not improve symptoms and seems to have further increased tissue sensitivity. This issue has caused significant physical and psychological distress, and I would greatly appreciate your expert opinions on whether this is something you might be able to help me with. I live in Sweden but would definitely be willing to travel abroad for treatment.
