I am a 36 y/o female and have had an indentation in my upper lip since I was a teenager. It was a result of a cut on my lip. The cut was very minor and due to dry lips. The indentation remained after it healed; however, there is no difference in texture (it does not feel rough like scar tissue). Is there a way to correct this through some type of scar revision procedure without risking a worse scar from the procedure itself? I prefer not to get filler. My lips have permanently tattooed lip color (if that is relevant). I am extremely fair-skinned and scar easily, although I do not normally get keloids or hypertrophic scars. Just discoloration that can last as long as a year for a minor cut.
