Hi, I will be in Istanbul, Turkey soon. I know there are lots of wonderful hair transplant surgeons there. But I found difficulty finding any of them who are comfortable with using pubic hair or underarm/armpit hair as the donor site, saying the results are not good. Does anyone know of good results being achieved with this hair? I ask because my scalp hair is very light, but my eyebrows are black.

Hello and thank you for your question. If your eyebrow transplant is done correctly by an experienced doctor you don't have to worry about the ink showing through the implanted hair. The key here is to find a very experienced doctor. Best of luck to you.

Hello and thank you for your question. It really depends on your healing rate, if you heal quickly then I think waiting about 6 months would be sufficient. However, if you ten do heal slowly then I would wait about a year before getting a transplant. Best of luck to you.
