Lip lift. Is it possible to predict the results? How many milimeters should I decide to reduce? (Photo)

Question

I would like to know if it is possible to predict the result of a Lip Lift and how many millimeters shoud I decide to reduce thanks the two pictures I'm adding of my lips. And also if I can know if a certain feature would look good on me, such as making my Cupid's bow round and curvated up, please. Thank you very much. PS: Don't know why the second the picture looks greenish.

There are basically two types of lip lifts.  The first one is directly at the vermilion border (edge of the red lip).  This type of lift takes a strip of white lip out just above the vermilion border, and in that way increases the amount of red lip visible which also increases the number of teeth showing during a smile.  The second technique, which I prefer, is done just under the nose.  If done correctly, it leaves no visible scar.  It more obviously shortens a lengthy upper white lip and gives a more youthful smile.  Thank you for the pictures you sent to RealSelf.  They indicate an upper lip which should be slightly wider to balance the full lower lip.  You also have very narrow nostril sills at the base of your nose.  By using the technique of darting into each nostril sill while performing a sub-nasal lip lift, one can give a slightly wider nostril sill or base which may be more attractive depending on the full appearance of your nose and mid-face.  As you can see, without an in person exam and measurements of your facial features, none of your online Board Certified plastic surgeons will be able to give you an exact answer to your questions.  It's very difficult from the limited pictures you sent to extrapolate as to how many millimeters should be removed and what the final outcome will be.
