Can the two procedures be completed during the same surgery? I was hoping to do both at the same time to reduce the number of days I would need to take off for recovery. If yes, any provider recommendations? Or is it better two complete them separate, since a doctor may be better at one or the other?
Answer: Multiple procedures Yes, they can be done together. I would suggest a Facial Plastic Surgeon for Nose and a General Plastic Surgeon for Breast Surgery.

Answer: Can I have Rhinoplasty and Breast Lift at the same time? Combining cosmetic plastic surgery procedures like a rhinoplasty and a breast lift is not uncommon. Whether you are a reasonable candidate for those procedures depends on your anatomy, your medical history, realistic expectations of the outcome and an understanding of the pros and cons of the various procedures. Safety should always be the main concern. It is generally recommended that the length of elective surgery be less than six hours. The procedures should be performed in an ambulatory facility that is accredited by one of the national organizations like the American Association for Accreditation of Ambulatory Surgical Facilities (AAAASF) or in a licensed hospital. Many surgeons would recommend an overnight stay at an appropriate facility where you can be appropriately monitored. Most patients prefer undergoing one anesthesia and one recovery period which is usually more cost effective. Keep in mind that following the advice of any surgeon on this or any other web site who proposes to tell you what to do without: examining you, physically feeling the tissue, assessing your desired outcome, and taking a full medical history, as well as discussing the pros and cons of each operative option would not be in your best interest. I would suggest you find a Board Certified Plastic Surgeon certified by The American Board of Plastic Surgery who is ideally a member of the American Society for Aesthetic Plastic Surgery (ASAPS) that you trust and are comfortable with, and discuss your concerns with that surgeon in person. That way, you can have a better idea what is safe and makes the most sense for you. Robert Singer, MD FACS La Jolla, California

Answer: Rhinoplasty and breast lift Assuming that you are healthy and have no medical comorbidities, it is completely safe to perform a rhinoplasty and breast lift during the same surgery. At our practice, two surgeons operate on you at the same time with one Board-Certified plastic surgeon completing your rhinoplasty while the other Board-Certified plastic surgeon completes the breast lift. This cuts the operative time in half, reducing your time under anesthesia while reducing your postoperative recovery period. Good luck!

Answer: Rhinoplasty and Breast Lifts Rhinoplasty and breast lifts can be safely done during the same surgery. But it takes a plastic surgeon who feels very comfortable and skilled in both procedures to usually make that happen. It would be more difficult, although not impossible, to find two plastic surgeons to come together to perform them during the same operation time.
