Since you are getting a 20% reduction (ideal) in both inner and outer, would you expect a total 40% smaller thigh? How does that work?
Answer: You will not get a 40% reduction in thigh size from one inner and one outer thigh Coolsculpt experience. You will not get a 40% reduction in thigh size from one inner and one outer thigh Coolsculpt experience. Keep in mind that each handpiece application will remove about 25% of the fat in that handpiece at one time. But the handpiece is only so large and multiple areas need to be treated to acquire the desired effect. Also circumference is dependent upon skin and fat and I do not know how much your inner thigh laxity plays into your situation.

Answer: Expected fat reduction after CoolSculpting In one of the largest studies done for CoolSculpting, patients experienced up to 23% reduction in abdominal fat thickness three months after the procedure. This result is not additive - in other words, getting CoolSculpting on the inner and outer thigh will not double the reduction in fat thickness as you mention. However, patient satisfaction with CoolSculpting is generally very high. Most patients are quite happy with their results after this procedure.

Answer: Thigh reduction by CoolSculpting versus LipoContouring Dear columbiasc:CoolSculpting (CS) is tried and true and will reduce the fat cell volume by up to 20% of the fat contained within the suction cup applicators between the cooling panels. If the CoolSmooth applicator with a single cooling panel which was developed for the outer thigh is used, up to 10% fat loss is anticipated. The thigh like any body part consists of other tissues including skin, fascia, muscle, bone, etc to make up its volume. Performing CS on opposite sides of the thigh with limited fat reduction of the subcutaneous fat only and by the surface area under the cooling panels only will not reduce total thigh volume by adding "20% + 20% to equal 40%. To reduce the circumference of the thigh, a ring of subcutaneous fat must be reduced as well. Depending on the volume of fat and contours of your thighs, you may wish to consider surgical lipocontouring to better meet your desires. Please consult with a Board Certified Plastic Surgeon who provides both of these options so you may receive a better assessment and recommendations. I wish you the best! Happy Holidays!

Answer: How much of a reduction does one get with CoolSculpting This is an excellent question. One would not however expect a 40% reduction in the diameter of your thigh. This is because the reduction caused by CoolSculpting is in the fatty tissue only not in all the mass of the thigh i.e. the muscle, bone etc.

Answer: Would you expect a 40% reduction in overall thigh size? CoolSculpting works very well but not that well. You can expect between 14-22% improvement in each area but that would not reduce your overall thigh size by 40% I like the optimizm in you thinking though. Good luck.
