The risk of developing a clinically significant issue like cardiovascular disease or pancreatitis is vanishingly slim. In addition; these findings generally return to baseline once the course of treatment is over. In fact, many dermatologists will do a baseline set of labs without monthly follow up blood draws because these changes are almost expected. Mucosal dryness is also very common and will subside at the end of treatment. A water based lubricant can be used for the time being during intimacy.
