In the photo you posted there isn't a super obvious hood to either eye, but if you are concerned about puffiness in the morning that may be affecting the way you look, there are a few steps you can take before exploring more permanent surgical solutions. It's probably just normal swelling, possibly made worse by allergy or hydration difficulty. Age is also a potential factor, here. Your eyes may just be developing lines that you didn't have when you were younger. You may be dehydrated in the morning, which can worsen swelling and puffiness. You should hydrate during the day, but especially before sleeping. Hydrating will promote proper circulation. You could also use cool or warm compresses over your eyes. Both can help with puffiness. Try using a warm wet compress over your eyes in evenings before you sleep, gently massaging the towel against your eyelids. This may temporarily make your eyes red and puffy, but they should return to normal. The warm compress addresses the causes of puffiness but doesn't immediately fix the situation. A cool compress can help to reduce redness and swelling, relaxing away tension that is building up pressure around your eyes. Plus, it feels nice!
