Question

33 yrs, healthy active nonsmoker. 55kg. I was previously filled in midface for tear throughs. This filler was placed wrong and over the course of the years i dont know if it stretched my face or what. Another injector dissolved it and now im left with hollows and severe droopiness. I feel i look SO much older. And its affecting my self image. I was injected multiple times in the same place. To takle This hollowness. Is a midface lift okey? Do i need a minilift? Or fill it with fillers again?

Thank you for submitting your question and photos. I’m sorry you experienced unsatisfactory results from dermal filler injections. While you don’t appear to be a candidate for a facelift, you may benefit from an autologous fat transfer to restore volume to the sunken area beneath your eyes. This treatment option uses your body’s own fat to rebuild volume in the face, making it appear more youthful while also improving the quality of the skin. I recommend scheduling an in-person consultation with an experienced, board-certified facial plastic surgeon. They will be able to review your injection history, discuss your concerns with you, and help you decide on the best treatment option.

Great questions--more standardized photographs or in person examination would be most helpful to discuss your concerns and how they can be improved. Based on your age and description, it sounds like most likely an issue of volume that was restored (albeit incorrectly) and then dissolved, but better views are needed.

You are definitely too young for a facelift. You had a bad experience  with fillers. You can try fillers again if you like. Unfortunately the so called tear trough is best off not being messed with.
