I had open surgery for my appendix, Nov.4th 2024. I now have this bulge/ ledge, that has not resolved. Dr. said it was swelling, but it hasn't gotten smaller after 1 month post surgery. Is this permanent from cutting through the muscle, or is this really swelling? If this is a abdominal wall deformity (feels like a hotdog under the skin)...how is this corrected to lay flat as left side? Is this considered a revision, that insurance will cover? Any help would be appreciated!
