Sleeping with a pregnancy pillow after TT/BBL?

My patient coordinator suggests a "mattress" called a holo lilo.  It's a swimming pool raft, not a mattress with a hole cut out in the middle for pregnant ladies to lay on their stomachs. As you described, you will lay on my back with your head elevated and your buttocks in the hole of the raft so there's no pressure on them.   Some patients cut out holes in lawn chairs and sleep on them.Kenneth Hughes, MD, Board Certified Plastic SurgeonLos Angeles, CA

Sleeping after a tummy tuck can be sore and uncomfortable for a while until the muscles relax a little more. I advise most of my patients to sleep in a recliner on their back for the first 2-3 weeks. This seems to help them in the begging while they feel so tight and sore. Best of luck and keep using your pregnancy pillow!
