sir,a knife stab stich scare in my face is getting itchy, bulgy and bigger. after 1 year and 9 months. Please advice me on what to do to stop the scare growing bulgy and start getting flat. It doesnt pain me. but it itches me sometimes.

This is a red and depressed scar that can be improved by either scar revision surgery, pulsed dye laser, fractional co2, and percutaneous scar release.  I perform all of these in combination to improve scars of the forehead.

In my practice, I would focus on the prominence of the bulky lip tissue and the white scar on the mucosa.  Both can be corrected or improved with surgical excision and layered closure.

Scar excision and layered closure will help even out this lip scar and make it less noticeable.  I would combine this treatment with laser scar treatment.
