Answer: Eyelid ptosis Thank you for your question. From your photos it does seem you do have mild ptosis. In your first photo it is not so evident because you are using your forehead muscles to open your eyes. It is more evident in your second photo, but it is still mild. You would benefit from an in person consultation to determine the best option for you but I think you would benefit from ptosis correction surgery. Hope this helps!

Answer: Ptosis and triple eyelids Dear vtmn11,That's a good question. Thank you for your questions and sharing your photos with us. From the first photo that you shared, it is not evident that you have ptosis or it could be very mild. However, in the second picture it appears that you have mild ptosis but this has to be confirmed with an in-person consultation. This could be due to the fact that you are using your forehead muscles to lift your eyelids which can explain why you feel the eyelids are heavy and you get multiple eyelid creases as the day progresses. I see many patients with such a condition where the ptosis is not evident but this is because there is compensation from the forehead hyperactivity. In time, this can also cause multiple creases on the forehead. You do not actually have triple eyelids. What you see is multiple creases which are caused by ptosis or drooping of your eyelid. I hope this answers your question.
