Question

Will my treatment scar ever go away? I feel like going for 2nd opinion but my dermatologist said that it takes time to heal. But as I went through the photos shared by the kind members here, I had never seen anyone similar to my situation. I am particular worried about the areas where the laser lights overlapped. Can anyone please suggest my next course of action? Sincere thanks.

The areas that you are concerned about are secondary to overlap of treatment areas.  You are still quite early in your recovery peroid, and with diligent treatment this should resolve.  Typically, this condition can improve with skin lightening agents and steroid creams.  I suggest you followup with your physician for further evaluation.

The cause of a grid pattern after CO2 laser is overlap between one area and the next.  The lines are places that essentially received twice the laser energy as the skin next to it.  You need to be on topical treatment to minimize the appearance of the grid (sunscreen, steroid and skin lightener)  If you are fortunate, this will disappear with time.
