colefisher, Asians like you and I tend to have shallower orbits than our Caucasian counterparts. Because of this, orbital fat has a tendency to bunch forward towards the eyelids. A blepharoplasty which addresses fat reduction can help with the apparent shallowness. Hope this helps. Cheers
Fat reduction may give you the OPPOSITE of what you're looking for and make you look older prematurely. I perform Asian eyelid surgery every day and I can tell you you need to be careful. In general if you make a nice low crease it can add a look of depth but with your anatomy if won't look strikingly deep and the eye won't look much more deep set. It will have a "look" of being more deep set and more contoured. Be careful. You request and anatomy required very experienced hands.Chase Lay, MDAsian eyelid surgery specialist.

From your picture your issue may be ptosis. Maybe consider seeing a doc about raising the eyelids with minimal, if any, skin removal. An epicanthal (Asian) fold may be added, but that's for you and your surgeon to decide. Make sure you seen an oculoplastic surgeon or one who...
Hello RicB, thank you for your question and photos. The surgery to remove epicanthal folds and to extend the inner corners of the eyelids is known as medial epicanthoplasty. It is a very common adjunctive surgical procedure that is performed along with Asian blepharoplasty....
