In theory your skin will go back to its original state at some point, but always be in a more youthful state than if you hadn't done it. You set back the clock on aging, but the clock keeps running.
Thank you for your question! Ultherapy will give you a rejuvenating, fresh look but you also have to keep in mind that every day, you are still aging. Using medical grade skin products, staying out of the sun or always wearing SPF, and keeping hydrated will slow down the aging process.
Thank you for your question. Unfortunately, the aging process always continues, so in theory, yes your skin will go back to its original state eventually. However, your skin will be more youthful, and you will have produced more collagen if you do Ultherapy. I recommend supplementing the Ulthera with anti-aging procedures that will keep your skin’s youth maintained, such as Microneedling with PRP and laser treatments. Also, patients typically repeat Ultherapy every 2-4 years.
I tell my patients that Ultherapy puts collagen in their bank. If you do the Ultherapy procedure, you will always have more collagen than if you hadn't. Unfortunately, though, the aging process continues, resulting in continual loss of our existing collagen. Most people choose to redo the Ultherapy every 3-5 years.
Ultherapy works better when combined with other treatments to further optimize results. We use Lasers, Chemical Peels, Microneedling, RF treatments, and Fillers along with Ultherapy to further improve and maintain results. Make sure you are under the care of an experienced provider. Best wishes.

Every patient's face is different therefore will vary in the number of lines needed for Ultherapy. The number you received could be completely appropriate. It can be very normal for your face to appear thinner as the collagen tightening creates a lifted appearance. I would...
Our practice would advise you to wait the full month after surgery before proceeding with Ultherapy to ensure all swelling has resolved. It's always best to book a consultation with a certified medical provider to evaluate your individual situation. Best of luck!
HIFU means High Intensity Focused Ultrasound, which is a very specific technology that focuses the sound waves similar to how sunlight can be focused with a magnifying glass to a very small spot. When the applicator is on the surface of the skin, the focal point is underneath the skin. The o...
