I'm 53 & have severe cellulite on my arms, as I know nothing will completely get rid of it but that has to be some kind of procedure that would help. I had liposuction on my arms & stomach in 2017 & it was a botched surgery, my stomach is full of dimpling but that doesn't worry me as much as my arms as they are horrendous. HELP ME PLEASE

Answer: Treatment of "cellulite" of upper arms Hi and welcome to our forum!From your photos, I note significant skin surface irregularity and surface scarring of the upper arms, most likely involving the underlying soft tissues as well. In addition, the skin envelope of the upper arm appears lax as well. The risk / benefit ratio must be considered. Surgery in a scarred area where the blood supply to the tissues has been previously manipulated incurs increased risk of complication. Tightening the skin by removing the excess adds another significant scar extending from armpit to elbow on the inner aspect of the arm. This may improve but not eliminate the skin contour irregularity. Visit a board certified plastic surgeon for in-person evaluation.Best wishes...
