Can Septo-rhinoplasty improve voice?

While most of the production of sound occurs in the vocal cords, your head and nasal cavities act as a large resonating chamber. If your nose is blocked, the quality of the voice can sound nasal and restricted.If you broke your nose, then you certainly could have had a voice change as a result of the trauma. Septoplasty and rhinoplasty can correct blockages and help open the nose, allowing air to pass more freely. This is a question I'm frequently asked because of the number of entertainers we see in our community. A septorinoplasty may improve the  nasal quality to your voice. No guarantees are possible but an examination will help you establish reasonable expectations. I encourage you to strongly consider the surgery because it can improve nasal breathing even if there is no change in your voice.
