I had rhinoplasty about 6 months ago in Korea. The doctor used donated dermis for my bridge and septal + ear cartilage for my tip. Long story short: I want my columella to hang more and get a nice infratip. So that my nose looks more natural. My doctor said he could do that with dermis filler. But I couldn't find anything about dermis filler online. Another doctor told me that an operation would be necessary to create a hanging columella. I need more advice. Please help me!

Hi @amichelle55! A non-surgical approach would be to inject botox into the depressor septi muscle. This will relax the muscle and stop your nose from drooping down when you smile. Best of luck, Dr. Nima!
Most people who receive injectable fillers have a very mild immunologic response to the fillers. Your doctor will help you answer this question, however, I suspect you would not have a problem. I hope this helps! Sincerely, Dr. Joseph
A liquid rhinoplasty would probably not make a big difference. While it can add definition, it is more appropriate for people who have dents that they'd like to fill in from a profile view. If you are looking to slim down your nose, you will likely need a surgical rhinoplasty.
