How often should I get Ellacor after the first 2-3 sessions?

Ellacor is said to provide optimal results after 3 treatments. Once you have gone through those initial treatments and achieved those results, how often should you go back for refresher treatments to maintain the results? Once a year?

That's a great question!!  I would have to guess a little on this as the technology is quite new.  My best educated guess would be every 1-2 years depending on your age.  At a younger age, the skin elasticity is better and I would predict that the treatment effect would be more profound and durable.  After early to mid-50's I would predict that healing would take longer and the contraction of skin would not be as profound because the skin is not as robust with the cells that actually heal and remodel the skin. During the patient's initial consultation for Ellacor, we determine how many treatments would best benefit the patient. Some patients can achieve optimal results with one treatment yearly, other patients need three treatments 4 weeks apart. After the initial series, most patients can go 12-24 months before they would need to have another treatment. We work with our patients to track their progress after their treatments and make sure they are getting the best results over time.

Hi, congratulations on obtaining excellent results from Ellacor micro-coring. Refresher treatments can be determined by ongoing follow up exams. Though once a year may be beneficial for some patients, the results will likely last longer for patients.
