Thank you for your question. Venus Legacy is not painful, in fact it is somewhat relaxing. It uses Multi-Polar Radio Frequency, Varipulse Technology and Pulsed Electro Magnetic Fields which produce a soothing and therapeutic heat matrix over the skin. It also stimulates the creation of new collagen and increases lymphatic flow. Some patients state that it's like a heated massage and sometimes they even fall asleep.
Thank you for your question! The Venus Legacy treatment is very comfortable. Depending on which applicator is used you may have some mild suction while treating the area. This is not painful for patients but can be very relaxing. Patients in fact fall asleep while being treated and often report the treatment feels like a hot stone massage.
There is no pain from venus legacy treatments, most of my patients pass out and say it feels like a massage. Best, Dr. Emer.
Venus Legacy is different from the Venus Freeze because it has a vacuum component to it meaning you can treat deeper fat and cellulite better. This is a very mild vacuum component though and it does not tug, pull, or hurt. I'd say it's a 1 or 2 maybe on your discomfort scale the first time, but after that, many people nap during their procedures because it's so easy and tolerable. Venus Legacy is a very comfortable relaxing treatment. You will experience a warm sensation and redness after the treatment. However you can return to all daily activities such as work, swimming, and exercising.
Thank you for your question! Venus Legacy should be done weekly for about 6-10 treatments depending on the area being treated. We also recommend having maintenance treatments at least every 6 to 12 months.
Fillers are injected at much deeper layers than the Venus Freeze or Legacy goes. I have never had any issues with doing fillers and Venus Freeze together. The only thing I suggest is that people wait a minimum of 24 hours after fillers for their next treatment. "This answer has been solicited...
