Tiny red spot on my left breast, 1 year post breast augmentation, should I be concerned? (Photo)

I have a tiny flat red spot that I just noticed on my left breast, my breast augmentation was transaxillary 405cc, 1 year ago. Should I be concerned? It doesn't feel sensitive or painful.

Thank you for your picture and question. This is likely a benign skin lesion and has nothing to do with your augmentation. If you are concerned about the lesion, you can always see your regular doctor or get a referral to a dermatologist to have it evaluated and possibly biopsied.Best of luck!

as we all age... and if its very red, its likely to be a cherry hemangioma that can simply be observed or cautery ablated if desired.  If it has scaliness to it, is symptomatic, or bleeds, you should have it evaluated for a possible biopsy.

Small skin changes such as this are probably not related to your surgery. You can have your plastic surgeon take a look, or see a dermatologist. From the photo, which is always limited, it does not appear concerning. Best wishes.
