I see the result will last for 18 months. Can I do it again then? Will there be any residue in the skin? Will that cause any problems for other procedures such as filler?
Answer: Repeating Silhouette Instalift Thank you for your question. The great thing about this procedure, is that you can build on the results. Each and every suture can further reduce some of the laxity. Very often, patients will return and ask if I can add sutures to other areas of the face or even further reduce the appearance of jowls or nasolabial folds. Like fillers, these sutures have tremendous potential to help combat the aging process and the results follow the skill and experience level of the surgeon as well as the placement and number of sutures involved. I would recommend that you visit an experienced surgeon who can discuss several different options for you.

Answer: Can Silhouette lift be applied multiple times? Thank you for your question. The Silhouette Lift consists of small entry points made in your skin by a needle. There is no scalpel used. No incision scars. This is all good news if someday you might need or want a formal facelift/necklift. You can also receive another Silhouette Lift a couple years after the first if you are still not ready/not a candidate for a facelift The material is the same that we use with Sculptra injectable. Often Sculptra patients will come back every few years for a touch up. Best to see a Board Certified Plastic Surgeon or Otolaryngologist, (ENT). They will be able to let you know what might work best in your case, (Silhouette Lift vs. Fillers vs. Surgery), as they do all of the above. Please call with any questions.Jeffrey J. Answer: The Best Results from the Silhouette Instalift are individualized for each patient The Best Results from the Silhouette Instalift are individualized for each patient. Yes, additional Silhouette Instalift threads may be placed to maintain your facial lift and contour. The thread are absorbed over a 6 month period and during this time will stimulate the production of your own collagen. The lift and collagen will last up to 2 years; however, this will vary with the quality of the skin, age of the patient and facial contour. Fillers may be used to further contour the face. It is best to wait, for filler placement, a few weeks after the Silhouette Instalift threads have taken a hold in the underlying tissues. Likewise, if filler is placed first the Silhouette Instalift threads, if they are to be put in the same location, should not be placed for a number of weeks. Silhouette Instalift is ideal for laxity along the jawline, upper neck or in the mid-face. The jowls are improved and the deep nasolabial folds are smoothed. The procedure is performed outpatient with minimal discomfort. Unlike, a formal facelift, the patient is able to resume most activities in a short time frame. Hence, the Silhouette Instalift great for lifting, smoothing and contouring mild to moderate laxity and contour loss of the face and upper neck.

Answer: Silhouette InstaLift You can absolutely add additional sutures after 18 months. It is safe to combine this procedure with fillers as well, although it is recommended that you wait a couple of weeks before doing so. The reasoning is so that the tissues are healed and swelling resolved before having further treatment.

Answer: Silhouette InstaLift Thank you for your question. Silhouette InstaLift has absorbable lifting sutures that tighten the skin and stimulate collagen as they dissolve over time. InstaLift can be done at the same time as a filler or injectable without any issues. You can definitely have additional sutures inserted but I would wait for 3 months before doing so. For more information, I recommend getting a in person consultation with a board-certified dermatologist.
