I have Hidradenitis Suppurativa under each arm pit...and a milder (but steadily progressing) form in the groin/labia/buttocks/inner thigh area. I am having a difficult time locating a dermatologist that has the necessary CO2 laser equipment and/or awareness of using said laser to remove HS tissue. Previous therapies tried include: humira, kenalog injections, metformin, accutane, and many antibiotics. I believe surgery is the last option.
