Lightsheer hair removal redness or side effects? (Photo)

This is my 2nd session but the result wasn't very good.The very 1st session was going very well.I don't have any problems about it. The point is the one woman who did treatment to me she did not put jel on my upper lip before she will do the treatment for me.First session she did but 2nd session she did not. I just wondering this is common? Here is my picture. I took it just in case something happens to me PS.My type us pretty tan as Asian race. Sincerely, Bell

These settings seem to be fairly low, particularly with light skin. I'm in the low 30's for most of my treatments. However, I'm using the Duet's larger handpiece (HS) for most of the treatment and the smaller handpiece for hard to reach areas, areas that don't suction well, or finer detailed areas.
