3 months post op. 275cc textured, HP, under muscle. What exactly has gone wrong? Breasts are so artificially looking and there is no slope at all. Did I go too big or the high profile implants was a poor choice of my surgeon? He doesn't see anything wrong with the result. Will anything improve with time? A part of the scar is also coming out of the crease on both sides. Is there anything I can do to improve both issues(slope and scar position)?
Answer: Follow-up: Why do my implants look like two balls and there is no slope from the chest wall to breast? Thank you for the pictures and questions. I feel that many of your issues would have been taken care of by a thorough pre-op discussion. From reviewing your pre-op photos from other posts and looking at your post-op photos, your results are exactly what I would expect and from my standpoint you have a successful breast augmentation. What you need to understand is that the ability to disguise an implant and have a "natural" looking result is directly proportional to the amount of normal tissue covering that implant. In cases like your where the patient has smaller breasts and is very thin, the end result is going to be very rounded and look a lot like the implant itself because the breast is composed of mostly implant and that implant dictates the shape of the breast. One thing I think would have been helpful is to discuss the possible use of shaped silicone implants for your augmentation. I think with very petite ladies, these offer a more natural end result. You could talk to your surgeon about this option. In regards to implant size and profile, I would advise that you choose an implant in your volume desire range that maximizes the width of your breast. Without your measurements, I cannot advise you on what that would be.In regards to your scarring and other concerns, I think you need to check your expectations. You are three months post-op and by all measures, have a successful breast augmentation with no complications or problems. For you to look at this as an unsuccessful result and to have issues with very small things such as how the edge of your scar is not completely in the fold shows me that you do not have realistic expectations about the ultimate outcome. This is why your surgeon "doesn't see anything wrong with the result" and why you two are probably not communicating very well.Hope this helps!

Answer: When you start with very little native breast tissue implants will create what your mounds look like... and will look like implants on your chest. If you must have better symmetry, you will have to accept a lot of risk for continued asymmetry, the costs of the procedure, and the risks that a contracture could be more likely. In my opinion, unless you end up lopsided, its not worth those risks for a little gain.

Answer: Transition from chest wall to breast it sounds like your recovery is going as expected. A major factor in the look we can achieve is implant choice. Size, firmness, and shape all play a role. For folks who are very thin like you, I often recommend anatomic shaped implants. Their teardrop shape gives you a more gradual and natural slope from the chest wall to the upper part of the breast.

Answer: Breast implants It is difficult to comment on your result without seeing your preop photos. The scars are pretty much in the crease and overall the result is in keeping with a successful breast augmentation. Of course every result can be altered / changed / improved but every revision comes with its own pros and cons. Best to see your PS and talk through the issues with him/her.

Answer: Artificial Looking Breast Augmentation You appear to be very slender. I suspect you had very little breast tissue. It is difficult to get a "natural" looking breast. A high profile implant gives you the least natural shape. Your implants also appear to be positioned too far toward the midline. Probably your surgeon was trying to get you cleavage, but now your nipples are pointing outward in a very unnatural manner. A lower profile or shaped implant would have given you a more gradual contour. I would also consider a smaller volume. I suspect that in a few months to a year your scars will be in perfect position and white so that they will not be noticeable.
