I have had my ear cartilage harvested for a revision rhinoplasty. How is my ear healing? (Photo)

I hit it with a pillow 3 days out and am a bit concerned I caused cauliflower ear. Also does it look like it will it heal symmetrically with my other cartilage harvest ear. It feels extremely sensitive and swollen and about 1 - 1 1/2 inches further out than my other ear; is this normal?

Communication is one of the most important steps in planning a rhinoplasty. I would encourage you to choose a surgeon that uses this tool in their discussion with you. I would encourage you to wait a year from your original surgery before having a revision, to allow the nose to completely heal....

It's really hard to estimate how far along you are in your healing without seeing your nose or knowing what exactly was done during your surgery.At this stage I would expect there to be quite a bit of residual swelling and thickness to your nose (especially your tip). In general I would expect...

Thank you for the pictures and your questions. In rhinoplasty, the more times the nose has been operated, the more difficult modifications become. The hanging columella is a problem in the tip cartilages. In your case, it looks like these are bowed outward. There are more or less involved ways...
