I feel when I raise my eyebrows I have deep wrinkles. I was wondering if 20 is too young to begin Botox? I read online that Botox can help reduce wrinkles as you age. And if I decide to stop Botox treatments, does it have any negative impact on your skin? Thank you.
Answer: Age and botox There is no age requirement to start botox. Botox can be used as a preventative to not make those wrinkles caused by your dynamic movement of your forehead become deep and visible. If the wrinkles are starting to bother you and your starting to see the creases being made by those wrinkles, then you can try out botox.

Answer: Botox and Forehead Wrinkles Botox as a treatment is definitely preventative as well as corrective. If you feel you are already starting to see dynamic creases and wrinkles, I would say you can start getting Botox! No negative side effects will happen to your skin if you ever decided to stop the procedure. The Botox will eventually wear off and your skin will go back to baseline.

Answer: Is 20 Too Young to Get Botox? You're Never Too Young for Botox If You Need It You can begin to have Botox treatments as soon as you think you need them. Everybody's skin ages differently. Environmental causes, such as sun exposure and smoking, can also degrade the quality of the skin, leading to more wrinkles. If you want to smooth out your frown lines and prevent them from being reinforced by the dynamic muscles that cause them, then Botox is the right choice. Each treatment lasts about 3 to 4 months, though you may need re-treatment less often as time goes by. If you stop Botox, it doesn't negatively affect your skin. However, your muscles will then begin pressing your skin into furrows and your wrinkles will eventually reappear. Please consult a board-certified dermatologist who is an expert with Botox so you can begin to schedule regular treatments.

Answer: Is 20 too Young for Botox? Thank you for your question! The short answer to your question is that, no, 20 is not too young for Botox. If you have wrinkles and lines in the forehead that are bothersome to you, then Botox could be an excellent treatment for you. Botox is a purified protein, which relaxes the muscles of the face when injected. As these muscles relax, the overlying wrinkles in the skin will soften and most often disappear. At your age, you will have a preventative effect from forming future and/or deeper wrinkles by starting with treatments now.I would consult with a board certified injector for a full evaluation, and discuss you goals for Botox. I hope that this helps!-David Gilpin

Answer: Is 20 too young to get Botox? Botox can definitely help reduce wrinkles as you age and is now becoming more commonly used as a preventative amongst the younger population. 20 is not too young to begin a neuromodulator treatment to help minimize wrinkles that have already developed on your forehead. Early treatment will also help prevent them from deepening as well as minimize the formation of new lines and wrinkles. Best of luck,Dr. Philip Solomon, Solomon Facial Plastic, Toronto, Canada
