In October 2024 my half face neck get burn skin peel off now i have light brown skin with dark patches I'm depressed how it goes away is there any procedures who remove this pigmentation I use triluma at night please reply me my age is 24 brown skin Did this pigmentation completely fade away

Fractional laser is an amazing and highly effective treatment in our office. We use the laser treatment to help with acne scars, large pores, fine wrinkles, tissue collagen loss, scars, sebaceous hyperplasia, active acne, and for brightening dark pigmentation. Although there are very strong fractional lasers such as CO2 laser, we use lighter treatments for corrective skincare and maintenance of results. Our Thulium fractional laser, clear and brilliant laser, and Ultra Thulium laser are excellent options in our clinic. We also perform CO2 fractional and erbium depending on skin tone and tolerance for downtime. Patients do have to use a Melarase cream before and after treatment to help further reduce pigmentation after laser.  Melarase AM, Melarase PM, and Melapads can seriously improve surface sun damage and UV related pigmentation. Dark spots can improve with these treatments. I recommend fractional laser for incisional scars as well, especially after plastic surgery.

Sun Protection: Consistent use of broad-spectrum sunscreen with high SPF is crucial to prevent further darkening of the patches and to protect healing skin.

Chemical Peels: Superficial chemical peels can help exfoliate the skin and improve pigmentation issues. These should be performed by a professional.

Laser Treatments: Certain laser therapies, such as fractional lasers, can be effective in treating pigmentation. It’s important to have these performed by an experienced dermatologist or cosmetic surgeon.

Microneedling: This procedure can help improve skin texture and tone by stimulating collagen production.

Patience and Time: PIH can take several months to fade. Consistent treatment and sun protection are key to improvement.
