Hello and thank you for your question! Once you have achieved your desired correction it is best to schedule a follow up in 6 months to a year to review photos and see if any additional vials will be needed. There will be continued volume loss as you age so the amount needed every year may vary. Hope this helps!
Treatment with Sculptra initially normally requires several injection sessions spaced over time to produce gradual improvement. I have seen results last for 2-4 years in some people. Maintenance treatments usually are required after the initial treatments, but the frequency can vary by individual. I would say one maintenance treatment a year would be fairly common, but the age and starting appearance of the patient would influence how often maintenance treatments might be needed.
Hello there! It's not a bad idea to perform some form of maintenance therapy for Sculptra. I often have patients monitor for decreases in volume over time. For example, I like it in the temples and I'll make sure the patient watches for recurrence of hollowing or a skeletal look. Some can get well over a year, while others need a refill prior to that. Hope that helps you!
Yes it absolutely is! To maintain this product will save you money over the tears as you will need less and can go longer in between.Best of luck

Hello Red E, Sorry that are suffering from this adverse event after Sculptra injections. I have injected hundreds of Sculptra patients since 2009 without adverse events. I have treated complications from other clinics. Unfortunately malar edema is caused by blockage of lymphatics. When...
While Sculptra is a possibility. It is relatively expensive and typically requires around three treatment sessions to achieve results. For this reason, I gave up using Sculptra a decade again, especially when robust HA fillers that had far more durable results came on the scene. HA fillers have...
Sculpltra is a stimulating agent that normally does require several treatment sessions spaced over time to produce gradual results. Generally speaking, the more treatments that are done, the more volume that can be added. More information would be needed to comment on your particular treatment...
