Had V.I. Peel Four Days Ago. Post Peel Protectant Isn't Moisturizing Enough?

I had my V.I. Peel four days ago. I am mostly done with my peeling, but my face is extremely tight and dry. Which I know is normal in the process. I am using the V.I. Peel Protectant I was given for post care. But it doesn't feel like it is moisturizing my skin enough. I got this peel because I am having adult acne. So I am afraid to use something too moisturizing that would break me out. What if anything should I use along with the V.I. Peel Post Protectant to help moisturize?

This is really common when having a Vi peel treatment done, I would suggest seeing your physician and maybe applying a small amount of hydrocortisone in the mean time, the VI peel helps tighten the skin and stimulate collagen to make it firmer, eventually your skin will produce natural oil and you'll feel a lot better. It is reasonable to use a petrolatum-based moisturizer such as aquaphor or Elta MD Moisturizer after at a Vi Peel if a richer moisturizer is required. This can be done even in acne prone patients. If one does not want to wear such a heavy product during the day, make it the night time moisturizer.
