Hi , I've had 2 micro needling with hylauronic acid twice now. However I find iniatilly my skin looks plump, fine lines gone and rejuvinated. But after 2 weeks it gkes back to how it was. I can definitively notice fine lines and crows feet wrinkles that looked minimized which have now returned.. I was told it would be collagen boosting and results will only improve but I honestly don't think the results have...
Answer: Microneedling: Is it worth it? Hello, With any collagen producing treatment it takes at least 30 days for your skin cell turnover. In conjunction with a vitamin A & C that will help your cells turn over it will help your treatments last longer because you're adding vitamins to your daily regimen. Skin Medica also sales a great TNS Essential Serum that has Growth Factors that will also enhance your treatments. Best wishes to you.

Answer: Recommend doing a combination of a resurfacing laser and a chemical peel such as the Melapeel to help improve the skin Fractional laser is an amazing and highly effective treatment in our office. We use the laser treatment to help with acne scars, large pores, fine wrinkles, tissue collagen loss, scars, sebaceous hyperplasia, active acne, and for brightening dark pigmentation. Although there are very strong fractional lasers such as CO2 laser, we use lighter treatments for corrective skincare and maintenance of results. Our Thulium fractional laser, clear and brilliant laser, and Ultra Thulium laser are excellent options in our clinic. We also perform CO2 fractional and erbium depending on skin tone and tolerance for downtime. Patients do have to use a Melarase cream before and after treatment to help further reduce pigmentation after laser. Melarase AM, Melarase PM, and Melapads can seriously improve surface sun damage and UV related pigmentation. Dark spots can improve with these treatments. I recommend fractional laser for incisional scars as well, especially after plastic surgery. Best, Dr. Karamanoukian Realself100 Surgeon

Answer: Microneedling Thank you for your question about microneedling. Microneedling with PRP (platelet rich plasma) will make an impact on your skin texture and pore size. Everyone is different in how soon they will see results from their treatment. You will often begin to see smoother brighter skin within 1-2 days. Your skin actually continues to improve over time (weeks to months) with collagen remodeling underneath the skin's surface. Within the first 2-3 weeks, most patients will see their pigmentation improve, followed by deeper skin regeneration that keeps improving over the ensuing months. Hyaluronic acid is hydrophilic by nature, so that is why you have an improvement in lines and wrinkles immediately following treatment. Collagen production will have longer lasting results, but does take several months to see benefits. To be sure you receive appropriate treatment, see two or more experienced, licensed and board-certified providers in your area for a complete evaluation to make sure you are a good candidate and that it is safe for you to have treatment. I hope this helps.
