What kind of rhinoplasty should I get for my nose? I would prefer no implants

How can i make my nose more defined without looking like an unnatural asian nose job? I want something subtle...like pitching in the top part of my nostrils. The first 4 pictures are if my nose, the last one is kind of how i want it to look. This is my nose side profile. I do have a natural bridge.

Based on your photos, a combination of subtle changes to your tip, columella, dorsum and middle vault will create a significant, nice change to the appearance of your nose overall.  Although it's difficult to give definitive recommendations without the aid of an in-person exam and morphing your pictures together with you, you would likely be able to achieve a look similar to Jamie Chung's with an open rhinoplasty and septoplasty with osteotomies and possible ear cartilage harvest.  A spectrum of changes can be made to the appearance of your nose using grafts from your own body - from mild to dramatic.  The changes that will look balanced and attractive on your face is something that you should make sure your surgeon understands, and is also able to technically achieve.

When looking at your pictures, you are a beautiful women.  The goal of a rhinoplasty in your case would be to make some subtle changes that would enhance your natural nose.  In your case, creating more definition and narrowing of the tip would be beautiful.To create more definition in an Asian nose, you have to take the thickness of the skin into consideration.  The skin on an Asian nose is typically thick.  To create more defitiion in a thick skin nose, a rhinoplasty surgeon must "push out" the skin to make it appear more narrow.  This is similar to a tent.  If you push out the top of the tent, it will appear more narrow.In your case, I would suggest pushing out your tip with cartilage grafting.  The cartilage could be harvest for the nasal septum.  The type of graft I typically use in this situation is a shield graft.  Depending on your nasal anatomy, there will be other techniques that I would use.To narrow the base of your nose, I would suggest a alar base reduction.  If you wanted to narrow the top aspect of your nose, you could consider breaking the nasal bones to make them more narrow.I hope this helps.

Asian rhinoplasties, like other "ethnic groups" , should minimize subtle differences if that is the patient's wish and allow them to maintain certain ethnic traits if that is also the patient's wish. In your case, a well defined tip can be obtained with  cartilage manipulation and suturing. Osteotomies are done to narrow the width a bit and the ala (openings) can also be narrowed at the same operation. I cannot comment on your dorsum (profile) b/c you did not show it in any of your photos. However, I believe that this operation is common and your objectives are reasonable.

I think you could certainly achieve your goals without an implant.  I would recommend an evaluation by a surgeon who is experienced in rhinoplasty.

It is possible to have a subtle increase in definition to your nose. The tip of your nose could be more defined with the use of a cartilage graft which can be obtained from the inside of your nose or your ear. Using your own material is beneficial over an implant as an implant can get infected and rejected down the road. You are a great candidate for Asian tip rhinoplasty

honeyfosho, I'm sure there are many men who would be happy to have you as a date just as you are. But if you desire change do so carefully. I would see 2-3 facial plastic specialists with years of experience. From your photos I would simply provide modest tip projection, perhaps do osteotomies, and consider nostril surgery 3-6 months later. Good luck!

Silicone implants are popular for Asian Rhinoplasty in other parts of the world, but not as popular in the United States.  Certainly the dorsum and tip can be augmented with Cartilage Grafts. Seek out a Rhinoplasty Expert in your area, and seek multiple consultations.  All the Best.

Your tip and the base of your nose can be narrowed. Without profile views I cannot comment on your bridge; If this needs to be augmented I recommend that you use your own cartilage. I avoid the use of implants in nasal surgery because of the risk of movement or extrusion.
