Just as a house without a proper foundation is not likely to stand, the under eyes without its upper cheek support is prone to the development of bags and tear troughs. The use of a robust HA filler properly placed in the appropriate location of the upper cheeks can not only recontour the cheeks to create a more feminine, heart-shaped oval face, but typically improves the tear troughs and bags, as well. Cheek filler can also help give a lift to the lower face as well. Another option for under eye treatment would be to do platelet rich plasma. PRP can help with the discoloration and help thicken the skin under your eyes. Multiple treatments of the PRP should be completed 4 weeks apart.
