Is a periareolar / donut incision worth it in the long run?

I have very mild tuberous breasts, a 34A cup, relatively similar size, large areolas. I just had a consultation with my surgeon today, and he has said that he would like to perform my augmentation with a lift and areola reduction using the periareolar/ donut method. However, I’m worried about the long term results, as I know it’s common for a lot of people’s areolas to stretch back to the size they were after months / years. Could anyone suggest if this method is actually worth it or if I should go back and request an anchor / lollipop method?
