Hello, I have had Labia majora filler and noticed alump few weeks after the treatment told by the practitioner that they usually go away after a while. It has been 10 months and I can still feel the lump and I’m just wondering if that is normal or I should be concerned?
Answer: Feeling Lumpy nodules after Labia Puffing While it’s not uncommon to experience some initial lumpiness or firmness after labia majora filler, especially if filler and PRP were combined, most irregularities typically resolve within a few weeks to a couple of months. If a lump is still present 10 months later, it’s definitely worth evaluating in person. It may simply be residual filler that hasn't broken down evenly, or it could be a small area of fibrosis (firm scar-like tissue), both of which are manageable. In rare cases, we can use hyaluronidase to dissolve the filler if needed — but only after a proper assessment.

Answer: Labia Majora Augmentation Hello, Thank you for reaching out with your concerns about your experience with labia majora filler. It's important to address any changes or issues you notice following a cosmetic procedure. Typically, some degree of lumpiness can occur after filler injections as the product settles and integrates with the tissue. In many cases, these lumps are temporary and resolve as the filler is naturally absorbed by the body. However, since you've mentioned that it's been 10 months and the lump is still present, it would be prudent to have it evaluated. While it might still be a benign effect of the filler, persistent lumps should be examined to rule out any complications like granuloma formation or uneven distribution of the filler. I recommend scheduling a follow-up appointment with your practitioner or seeking a second opinion from a qualified genital aesthetic surgeon. An examination will provide more insight into the nature of the lump and the best course of action. It could be something simple, but it's always best to be cautious with such concerns. In the meantime, keep a record of any changes in size, texture, or discomfort associated with the lump. This information can be very helpful during your consultation. Best regards, Dr. Mehmet Bekir SENGenital Aesthetic Surgeon"

Answer: What to do about a chronic lump from a filler injection? A lump that develops a few weeks after a filler injection could be several things - a migration of the filler, a reaction to the filler, a delayed infection, or a seroma (fluid collection), or a gynecologic issue that is simply coincidental. I would recommend that you visit your injector and/or gynecologist to make an assessment.
