I had chin liposuction about a year ago however they just did one incision point and did underneath my chin and not on my jawline. So the part directly under my chin is good but on my jawline I have pockets of fat. Would kybella be a good solution for this? If so where is the cheapest country to get kybella? Or would you suggest chin lipo again? Thanks.
Answer: Jawline Definition / Jawline Enhancement / Facial Sculpting / Facial Contouring -- injectable fillers like Revanesse Versa For a more defined jawline to strengthen your profile (and help prevent the dreaded jawline "jowl" sagging), we use injectable fillers like Revanesse Versa - a filler known to limit swelling and give subtle, soft enhancements - or Radiesse. Using a cannula to limit pain and swelling, we inject on the bone in strategic points to get more lift and shaping, resulting in a more contoured lower face and defined, structured jawline. I would suggest getting a formal evaluation with a facial sculpting expert. Best, Dr. Emer

Answer: Kybella Dear emzics, kybella typically takes 3 to 5 treatments to work. This is why I've stopped carrying Kybella in my office. I recommend neck liposuction more often then any injectable procedure for the neck now. It provides superior results gives me more control over the area than any injectable. It also costs about the same as what you paid for your first kybella session. The liposuction can be done under local while awake in the office and recovery is about the same as kybella. Answer: Chin and neck Liposuction To make an assessment on the outcome of an operation we really need to see before and after pictures. The human face including neck has a substantial amount of baseline asymmetry. It’s a little hard to tell from your pictures. We need a proper pictures showing the front and side. The red drawings make it difficult to see you the contour because contouring it’s always related to the surrounding areas. If you don’t have proper before and after pictures then ask the surgeon who did your procedure to forward the ones they took. Follow up with the surgeon who did the procedure or have in person consultations with other local board-certified plastic surgeons. Kybella is imprecise and it’s not recommend above the jawline. One of the branches of the facial nerve goes through that area and can easily be damaged from Kybela. If your previous provider is not available try a few in person consultations with other local board-certified plastic surgeons who can give you a proper assessment and recommend appropriate treatment options. Most likely revision liposuction is the way to go. It’s important to differentiate subcutaneous fat versus how the skin drapes for example. Likewise there is baseline asymmetry and everyone’s face to some degree. Best Mats Hagstrom 50
