I'm curious, in my case, how many folicular units I need to be transplanted. I received an estimation from a professional and he said around 2500 folicular units in total. I thought this was way too high for my case, and wanted a second opinion.

Hello, and thank you for your question. Transplanted, as well as your original hair, most likely will shed with minoxidil but will grow back and continue to grow. I hope this helps.

Alcohol consumption should be avoided at least 48 hours before hair transplant in order to decrease the bleeding during the surgery. However, it's already 6 months after your transplant so everything should be okay. The critical stage has already passed. I hope you're happy with your new hair.
