Does my donor look OK for a 2nd procedure for density? Planning for an extra 1500 grafts (Photo)

From the photos, it seems like your donor area is quite depleted. Furthermore, your hair is quite thin. I would roughly estimate 1,000-1,200 grafts to be extracted from your current donor area without over harvesting and make the donor area look unnatural.

Hello and thank you for your question. It looks as though you have enough grafts for another procedure. That being said, I would like you to think about something. You look young and you need to think about the future. Is it more important to you to have more density now or to wait knowing that more than likely you will want another procedure as you age? You could be risking the lack of a sufficient donor area when you want/need it. I hope this helps.

1500 grafts can be safely removed from your donor site, but this is not the important thing. The real question is that is there a need for so many graft transplants in the recipient area? Is there sufficient lack of density?
