I was born with ptosis in both eyes. I previously underwent ptosis correction and blepharoplasty on my left eye (Eye A) to level the eyelid, at 9 years old. However, this created more noticeable ptosis in my right eye, along with asymmetry between the two eyelids. Earlier this year, I decided to address the right eye (Eye B) by having ptosis surgery and blepharoplasty. During the procedure, the surgeon lifted the levator muscle to its normal position and removed excess skin and fat — as the right eye had more fat than the left. After surgery, I noticed a few concerns: The right eye (Eye B) now appears higher than the left due to possible overcorrection of ptosis. Too much skin may have been removed, making the right eye look significantly larger, especially noticeable when I look down. A bump has formed on the right eyelid, possibly due to uneven fat removal or residual fat tissue. I’m now exploring solutions to correct these issues. I understand that adjustments may be needed on both eyes to achieve better symmetry and a more balanced appearance. What are the possible options I have to correct my eyes?
