I'm in my late 20s and considering a lip lift. I generally like the shape of my lips, but I think my lips are a little downturned in the corners and my top lip is a bit thin. I'd like my lips to be a bit more 'pouty'. My philtrum is about 13-14mm.

You are an excellent candidate for a lip lift but not a bullhorn lip lift. A lip lift does 4 things: shortens the distance between your nose and upper lip, increases the mucosa of the upper lip, increases the incisor show and pulls up the corners. It takes 1 hour to perform under local anesthesia and costs $4,000.

A medium viscosity HA filler can be used to add volume to the upper lip. A low viscosity, cohesive, malleable HA filler can be used to accentuate and define the upper vermilion, which would also contribute to an upper lip lift.  If still necessary, a couple of microdroplet of Botos placed on each side of the upper vermilion border would further enhance this nonsurgical lip lift.  Finally, the same low viscosity filler can be  additionally injected at the lateral vermilion borders of the lower lip, which in turn would raise the slight downturning noted there. You would be wise to consult with an experienced, board certified cosmetic dermatologist filler expert. Hope this helps and best of luck.
