I had a mole removed on my foot a little over 48 hours ago. I have some internal and external stiches, the latter which are scheduled to be in for eight days. In my opinion, these stiches look way too tight with how drawn and wavy the skin is. My only point of a reference is a similar sized closure on my face done by a plastic surgeon, and it was smooth. Is this apparent tension and drawn skin going to increase my scarring, and is there anything that can be done at this point? Thank you!
