Scarring from Herpes on Nose. What To Do? (photo)

I had a nasty infection on my nose approximately 9 months ago, which has left me with scarring (pitted). A dermatologist has recommended TCA cross for the scarring. I have brown Indian coloured skin and was also considering Fraxel/CO2 laser or dermaroller. What would the doctors recommend ? Thanks.

Raised scars do well with pulsed dye laser and IIT.  Depressed scars benefit from percutaneous scar release techniques.

A pediatric plastic surgeon would have more experience on the nature of the scar and best ways to minimize it including revision. On the other hand for pigmentation issues often pediatric dermatologists are more skilled at scars that are darker or that need specialized lasers.
