Can this scar be improved?

Question

Had a scar revision a year ago however the scar was exposed to the sun more then I would have liked due to my old profession and I believe that is what aided in the poor result. I am wondering if this scar can be improved as it bothers me and is now worse the original scar I had. Curious what options I have? Thanks.

Subcision, which I have been routinely performing since 1995 is a simple, relatively inexpensive technique for elevating and smoothing all kinds of indented (atrophic) scars from all causes that has proven over the past several decades to be both effective and safe in all skin types. Following this professional manual microneedling (no need for the added expense and risks of RF microneedling) accompanied by the application of pigment enhancing medications, such as topical tyrosine and lanatoprost, can help to restore more normal color. Surgical excision, on the other hand, especially in areas subject to either static (at rest) or dynamic (with movement) muscular tension poses a  significant risk for the subsequent development of stretch scars and tram track stitch marks. You would be wise to consult a board certified cosmetic dermatologist, and best of luck.
